News2 August 2026๐Ÿ“– 4 min readโœ๏ธ By CricNerd Staff

Southern Brave's women have now won all five, the latest a five wicket win at Lord's built on Sophie Molineux's 3 for 7. With under two weeks to the knockouts, here is where both competitions stand and what is on today.

The Hundred runs to 16 August, and the group stage is now into its decisive fortnight. The clearest story at the top of it is the Southern Brave women, who have not lost a match.

Southern Brave keep winning

At Lord's on 1 August, Southern Brave beat London Spirit by five wickets to make it five wins from five in the women's competition. Their captain Sophie Molineux did the damage with the ball, taking 3 for 7 from her 20 deliveries, a spell that strangled the Spirit innings before it could build a total worth defending.

Trent Rockets did the double earlier in the week

The other side in form are the Trent Rockets, who on 31 July beat the Manchester Super Giants in both competitions on the same night. The women's Rockets won by 31 runs, posting 153 for 8 and bowling Manchester out for 122. The men's Rockets then chased down 138 to win by six wickets with 13 balls to spare.

Where the tables stand this morning

In the women's competition Southern Brave lead on 20 points from five wins. The Trent Rockets are next on 12, and the Manchester Super Giants on 10.

In the men's competition the Trent Rockets lead on 12 points from four games, with the Manchester Super Giants and Sunrisers Leeds both on 8, Sunrisers with a game in hand.

How the finish works

Eight teams play in each competition and only the top three reach the knockouts. The second and third placed sides meet in the eliminator on 14 August at The Oval, and the winner goes to Lord's for the final on 16 August. For any side outside the top three, the next few matches are effectively the season.

What is on today

Saturday 2 August brings two double-headers. The Trent Rockets host Sunrisers Leeds at Nottingham, and MI London face the Manchester Super Giants at The Oval, the women's fixtures first and the men's following at each ground.

Results, standings and fixtures verified on 2 August 2026 against the competition's published schedule.
